Every been to Beijing? It’s super smoggy and sometimes all you want is a breath of fresh air. Well now Chinese citizens can have that luxury thanks to two entrepreneurial Australians. The founders of Green & Clean Air have bottled up good, clean Australian air to save poor Chinese citizens from their horrific polluted air. The air is sold in a can and costs $20AUD (close to a tenner) and has an aroma of beach air and eucalyptus apparently.

Remember being young and dreaming of being a palaeontologist? On Tuesday, a hiker’s dream may have come true when climbing in Barcelona. He was out in the mountains north of Barcelona when he quite literally stumbled on a fossilised footprint of a dinosaur that archaeologists reckon is over 230 million years old. Fossil footprint found by hiker in Barcelona. The footprint belongs to Isochirotherium, a large crocodile-like dinosaur. Similar footprints have also been found in England and Scotland in the past few years – snap! (sorry)

On Thursday, in Palos de la Frontera in Spain, another animal related tail/tale hit the news, and quickly went pretty viral. After escaping from its pen in its circus enclosure, the animal went for a little wonder, including across streets (it didn’t even check both ways, just walked – so bold.) We can only assume this was a very hungry hippo, or a truly hippie hippo seeking freedom to find itself. Rest assured, the hippo was safely escorted back home after doing some sightseeing and going for a stroll.

And that brings us on to Friday, when we all wait with baited breath to find out who our new Mayor is. It could be a while, especially given we’re pretty certain that someone (or the whole of Barnet) will put in a complaint about being missed off the register.

Why not have a good, wholesome lunch and a break whilst you wait, and plan for the weekend.

With lunch,
